Job Description
Summary: Apollo Global Management, Inc. is seeking an Analyst / Associate to join their Sustainability & Infrastructure Group in a business strategy and COO role. The role involves supporting the growth of the Apollo Infrastructure Company through financial modeling, strategic evaluations, and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support Business COOs in all aspects of business strategy and execution for AIC:
- Building/maintaining financial models to evaluate various initiatives
- Building/maintaining pipeline and portfolio forecast reports
- Preparing internal analysis and presentation materials
- Interacting with key internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Evaluating strategic organic and inorganic initiatives (incl. M&A evaluation, transaction process, valuation)
- Support senior investment professionals (Portfolio Managers and COOs) on key portfolio and business management activities
- Identify and implement data/process enhancements to support day-to-day investment and portfolio management
- Assist in preparation of marketing material for fundraising and other external communication initiatives
- Conduct industry research and analytical support
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience; investment banking, principal investing, accounting, or consulting experience required
- Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate institution (major in business, economics, mathematics, or engineering preferred)
- Strong corporate finance knowledge, with experience building and managing corporate financial models
- Strong modelling, valuation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to support communication with internal and external counterparties
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and maturity with high level of integrity and discretion
