Summary: Apexanalytix is a long-standing innovator in procure-to-pay solutions. The Data Engineering Intern will develop and deploy data applications, work with large datasets, and collaborate with data scientists to enhance AI products. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy containerized applications to our Kubernetes cluster - Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of deployed applications - Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) to develop and integrate AI-powered features into our products - Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy data pipelines, architectures, and tools that support our AI products - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, architectures, and tools - Build UI applications using Streamlit or a similar framework to create product prototypes and gather feedback from users - Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in AI, data engineering, and cloud computing Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field or Associate degree holders with relevant skills and experience - Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field - Experience with SQL and database management systems - Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications in AI product development - Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes - Familiarity with natural language processing, text analysis, and machine learning - Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively - Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Required Skills: Python, SQL, Kubernetes Important Skills: Docker, Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing Nice-to-Have Skills: Problem-solving, Communication skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: BeWell@apex initiative that encourages employees’ growth in six key wellness areas: Emotional, Physical, Community, Financial, Social, and Intelligence., Strong Mentor Program, Internal Training Portal, Education, Tuition, and Certification Assistance
