They are seeking an Environmental Scientist to perform fieldwork, manage sustainability efforts, and contribute to environmental site inspections and data collection. Responsibilities: - Perform field work including collecting soil, surface water, groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air samples - Routine operation and maintenance of remediation systems - Become proficient in use and maintenance field monitoring equipment - Conduct Phase I environmental site inspections - Conduct stormwater inspections to ensure adherence to plans or regulatory - Gather and manage data manually and electronically requirements - Enter data into tables and figures and update report templates - Actively develop your own professional growth and manage your own schedule - Actively participate in a culture of safe work practices Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a similar field - Valid driver's license, good driving history, and access to reliable transportation are required - Recent graduate or someone with up to 3 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection - Comfortable working outside year-round and traveling for work up to one week at a time, including travel to remote project sites - Ability to work >8-hour days, lift 50 lbs, and stand for long periods of time (with breaks) - Ability to multi-task and manage your own schedule - Proficiency with Microsoft Office products - Strong technical writing and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with data management and report preparation - Experience with safety programs and safe work practices - 40-Hour HAZWOPER training Required Skills: Environmental Science degree, Field sampling experience, Data management Important Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency, Technical writing skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Safety program experience, 40-Hour HAZWOPER training, Communication skills Benefits: Medical, dental and vision plan options., Company-paid life, short, and long-term disability insurance., 401k plan., Paid time-off and holidays., Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects., Other perks and incentives.
