Job Description
Summary: Anywhere Real Estate Inc. is a prominent player in the title and settlement services industry, seeking a temporary Tax Specialist to support Texas Property Tax Certificates and related HOA information. This role involves monitoring requests, processing orders, and ensuring accuracy in documentation for residential and commercial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor internal order queues, email inboxes, and reporting tools for new Tax Certificate and HOA Certificate requests, updates, and related inquiries
- Process new and update requests through approved third-party vendor platforms (e.g., DataTrace, TitleLogix), tracking open orders through completion
- Review returned Tax Certificates and HOA information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to uploading to the production file
- Upload completed certificates and supporting documentation into internal title closing systems following established naming conventions and document standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal closing offices regarding order status, delays, corrections, or changes impacting tax or HOA information
- Maintain consistent service levels while managing daily production volume
- Provide exceptional internal customer service while supporting department service level objectives
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage volume‑driven work
- High attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or incomplete information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while adhering to established processes and turnaround expectations
- Proficient with standard office technology and document management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior knowledge of, or experience with, Texas Property Tax Certificates and/or HOA information strongly preferred
- Experience in a title, escrow, tax services, or real estate support environment preferred
- Familiarity with third‑party tax service providers (e.g., DataTrace, TitleLogix)
