Job Description
Summary: Anomali is a leading AI-Powered Security Operations Platform headquartered in Silicon Valley, seeking interns for their DevOps Engineering Internship program. This 12-14 week paid internship offers students the chance to apply academic knowledge in a professional setting, focusing on backend engineering and security analytics to empower organizations in threat detection and response.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree and in your third year post secondary education or beyond
- Majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, along with additional coursework in software development and/or DevOps
- Prior project or intern experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or a related field utilizing skills required for this position
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes
- Proficiency in programming with Python, Java, C/C++, or other modern Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages used for scalable distributed system backend development
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Kubernetes knowledge/experience managing containers preferably using Docker or a similar technology
- This position will be onsite at our Redwood City, CA office. Relocation, travel or housing assistance is not provided
- The ideal candidate will be extremely curious, innovative and have a passion for solving the impossible while learning on the fly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior participation in coding competitions (e.g., Codeforces, USACO Platinum, ICPC) is preferred but not required
