ROLE PURPOSE

The Warehouse & Logistics In-Charge is responsible for end-to-end warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations across Poly Group manufacturing businesses, ensuring uninterrupted production, accurate inventory control, and timely customer deliveries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Plan and manage warehouse operations for raw materials, chemicals, and finished goods.
• Ensure uninterrupted production through timely availability of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using bin cards and system updates.
• Conduct periodic and surprise stock audits.
• Lead monthly stock-taking exercises and reconciliation.
• Prepare inventory reports including MOQ, on-hand stock, aged and dead stock.
  
  Logistics & Dispatch Operations

• Plan logistics for key and large customer deliveries.
• Coordinate daily with transporters for dispatch and delivery.
• Monitor pending and overdue orders.
• Ensure timely GRN preparation.
• Arrange and track Goods-in-Transit (GIT) insurance in coordination with Procurement.
  
  Vendor & Transporter Management

• Manage transporter relationships and documentation.
• Ensure cost-effective, reliable logistics services.
• Maintain updated transporter records and agreements.
  
  Operations, Safety & Compliance

• Supervise unloading, stacking, storage, picking, and dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure warehouse environment.
• Ensure proper storage of raw materials and chemicals as per SON guidelines.
• Enforce internal safety, security, and operational procedures.
  
  People Management

• Allocate manpower efficiently.
• Supervise, train, and coach warehouse and logistics staff.
• Enforce discipline, safety awareness, and accountability.
  
  General
  
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Finance, and Sales.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by Management.
