Job Description
Summary: Anchorage Digital is building the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto. The Member of Prime Intern will focus on optimizing trading strategies, managing real-time data flows, and collaborating with various teams to enhance trading execution and risk management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced mathematical modeling and quantitative rigor to optimize systematic trading strategies in a multi product environment
- Design and deploy robust systems, internal tools, and dashboards that directly enhance our trading execution and risk management capabilities
- Take ownership of a capstone project within a specific rotation (e.g., Derivatives or Prime Finance), moving from conceptual research to actionable market insights
- Navigate the high-stakes volatility of crypto markets by helping managing real-time data flows and identifying patterns that impact the firm’s PnL
- Learn the inner workings of the Anchorage Prime ecosystem, understanding how institutional liquidity, custody, and settlement interact
- Work with the middle and back office to ensure that complex trades are not just executed, but seamlessly integrated into our operational framework
- Absorb institutional wisdom through direct mentorship from Wall Street veterans who have been in the digital assets industry for several cycles, translating high-level strategy into technical execution
- Present your research and strategy findings to the broader trading desk, defending your logic and influencing real-world trading decisions and client interactions
Required Qualifications:
- Focus on a quantitative subject at school (engineering, computer science, math, economics, etc.)
- Have demonstrable, innate curiosity for capital markets, specifically the digital assets sector
- Have traded yourself in a personal account and/or have participated in any blockchain native activities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have a deep understanding of tokenomics, token incentive structures, as well as the history of token prices and the narratives that drive them
