Senior Designer, Layout
Sustainable Automation (SAU) team at Analog Devices focuses on developing advanced silicon and system-level solutions for industrial automation applications such as robotics, sensing, connectivity, and control.
This role is intended for experienced engineers who can independently execute section-level or moderately complex analog and mixed-signal IC layout designs and contribute to overall project delivery. The position requires ownership of layout implementation from floorplanning through verification, ensuring compliance with design requirements, quality standards, and layout best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle section-level or moderately complex layouts independently, contributing to full project execution and quality delivery.
• Execute layout from floorplan to verification, including post-simulation updates.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality, and layout standards.
• Perform layout reviews and quality self-checks.
• Collaborate with analog designers, digital implementation, and assembly teams for proper integration.
• Manage assigned tasks, prioritise workload, and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
• Document learnings and support knowledge sharing.
Key Qualifications
• Proven expertise in section-level IC layout design.
• Experience in Top-level or chip-level is an advantage
• Solid foundation in layout principles, cross sections, IC reliability.
• Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso XL and Calibre verification tool
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
