Job Title:Project Manager – Semiconductor Development & AI‑Enabled Execution
Location: Singapore
Key Job responsibilities:
1. Semiconductor Development Project Management
Lead end‑to‑end project management for IC / Module / SoC development programs, including project planning, cross function coordination and dependency/risk management
Drive major project gates and milestones review
Ensure project execution complies with existing corporate NPD, APQP, and Functional Safety (FuSa) processes
2. Execution Risk & Issue Management
Proactively identify, track, and manage execution‑stage risks
Move beyond tracking known issues to identify early risk signals and execution trend patterns
Synthesize fragmented project data (issues, status updates, changes, review feedback) into clear, structured execution risk narratives for management decision support
3. AI & Digital Enablement in Project Management
Apply AI and digital tools to improve project management efficiency and effectiveness
Promote responsible and pragmatic use of AI
4. PMO AI Interface & Global Collaboration (New – Key Responsibility)
Act as the PMO AI interface between the China Business Unit and global teams, including:
Corporate PMO
Engineering Enablement team
Digital / AI enablement teams
Collaborate with global stakeholders to:
Align on AI‑enabled project management use cases
Share best practices, lessons learned, and execution insights
Pilot and scale AI‑assisted project management approaches across regions
Support the practical rollout and adoption of AI capabilities in project management:
Translate global AI initiatives into executable, project‑level practices
Providing feedback from real projects to improve AI tools and methodologies
Help establish a common language and framework for AI‑assisted execution management between China and global teams
5. Communication & Alignment
Serve as the information hub for project and execution topics across:
Technical leads and architects
Cross‑functional team leaders
PMO, management, and global partners
Communicate complex project status, risks, and AI‑enabled insights in a clear, structured, and executive‑ready manner
Required Qualifications (must- have)
1. Semiconductor Development Fundamentals
Solid understanding of the semiconductor development lifecycle:
Familiarity with collaboration across Digital, AMS, DV, Test, and Packaging teams
(Deep technical expertise is not required, but engineering fluency is essential.)
2. Project Management Knowledge
Strong foundation in project management principles:
Hands‑on experience managing R&D or complex engineering projects
Ability to manage uncertainty and drive execution in dynamic environments
3. AI Application Capability (Critical Skill)
Practical experience using AI tools for knowledge processing, information synthesis and pattern recognition and early signal detection.
Ability to leverage AI as a productivity and decision‑support tool, not as a technical showcase
Strong willingness to continuously explore and adopt AI responsibly
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE or computer science
• 5+ years of relevant working experience
• Solid knowledge of
semiconductor development knowledge,
strong project management fundamentals,
and proven AI application capabilities
• Good communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-have)
• Experience with exposure to Functional Safety (FuSa) or APQP related development
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Jama, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience working with global or cross-site teams
