Job Description
Summary: Analog Devices, Inc. is a global semiconductor leader that bridges the physical and digital worlds. The internship role focuses on analog design automation initiatives, allowing interns to work on meaningful projects with experienced engineers and researchers.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and validating ML-based models for analog design automation tasks
- Analyzing design data, simulation results, and layout metrics to extract meaningful insights
- Collaborating with design engineers to understand challenges and propose automation strategies
- Supporting tool development and scripting for design flow enhancements
- Documenting research findings and presenting progress to the team
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of analog circuit design fundamentals
- Experience with Python and machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch)
- Familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso
- Coursework in Analog IC Design, Mixed-Signal Systems, Machine Learning, and VLSI Design
- Exposure to design automation concepts and analog layout-aware design
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, pandas)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Curiosity and initiative in exploring interdisciplinary technical challenges
