Job Description
Summary: Amplify is a pioneer in K–12 education, leading in next-generation curriculum and assessment. They are seeking a Corporate Strategy intern to assist in building and growing innovative educational products while working closely with the Finance and Corporate Strategy teams.
Responsibilities:
- Market landscape analysis - using market data and qualitative research to identify potential partners and acquisition targets
- Shaping investment cases - partnering with cross-functional colleagues to evaluate emerging opportunities and investment areas
- Supporting enterprise strategic planning process - collecting and synthesizing key market trends from internal and external experts and stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Be enrolled or have recently completed an MBA program
- Have prior experience in management consulting, corporate development, or investment banking
- Available for 8-10 weeks during the summer (full-time weekly schedule)
- Knowledge of and interest in the K-12 education technology field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Ability to think critically about usability and suggest strategic improvements for content organization
- Phenomenal work ethic with a desire to expand skills
- Detailed, proactive, and hard-working with experience balancing multiple tasks and meeting targets
