Summary: Amperesand is disrupting industrial power with the first commercialized Solid State Transformer systems. They are looking for mission driven team members passionate about making amazing products for worldwide electrification at maximum acceleration. Responsibilities: - High power, high voltage circuit design - Design and end-to-end development including design, layout, verification, reliability test, and manufacturing of core circuits - Compute systems including microcontrollers, processors and FPGAs for high frequency converter control and protection - Auxiliary power supplies for 1kV+ inputs - Isolated SiC gate drivers and fault protection circuits - Sensing and EMC circuit design Required Qualifications: - Technical degree or equivalent industry experience in electronics engineering - Experience in digital and analog circuit design - Hands-on experience with advanced digital and HV circuit bring-up and troubleshooting - Proficiency with PCB CAD and simulation tools (preferably Altium Designer, *SPICE and/or PLECS) - Excellent written and verbal communications in English Preferred Qualifications: - Designed and built a power electronics PCBA - Experience with board thermals management Required Skills: Electronics engineering, Digital circuit design, Analog circuit design Important Skills: PCB CAD tools Nice-to-Have Skills: Troubleshooting skills, Thermal management, English communication Benefits: Competitive Salary + Incentive Stock Options, Medical, vision, and dental benefits for employees and their dependents, effective from the start of hire, Company paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance, Employees receive paid time off (PTO), paid sick days, and paid company holidays so they can rest, recharge, and take care of their health and personal needs., Commuter Benefits, 6-12 weeks 100% paid parental leave
