Position : Costing and estimation engineering

Exp : 8+ years

Location : Bangalore

BE / Diploma in Mech / Aero / Auto with 8 to 10 yrs of experience in Estimation of costing in high precision machining.

1 - Hands on experience on reading the product drawings, understanding of the process requirements.

2 - Interpret to evaluate tolerances and fit/function and decide the process.

3. Machining Process Expertise: like CNC milling 3,4,5 axis. Turning, turnmill, general machining.

4 - Experience in special processes like CCA, Heat treatment, Anodizing, painting etc....

5 - Identifycost-effective and efficient machining sequences.

6 - Understand nesting concepts for material optimization and cost reduction.

7 - Experience in aerospace-grade materials (Aluminium, Titanium, Inconel, etc.).

8 - Software Experience like AutoCAD, CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, etc.

9 - Good working knowledge of MS Excel for estimation, costing, and reporting

10 - Review RFQs and prepare detailed cost estimates for machining, raw materials, special processes, and outsourcing.

11 - Understand the full scope of work and prepare thorough cost analyses and pricing strategies.
