Summary: Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Summer Intern for their Scientific Affairs department. The role involves assisting in the implementation of AI/ML models and collaborating with R&D teams to optimize lab processes. Responsibilities: - Assist in the implementation of AI/ML models for drug discovery, formulation optimization, and clinical or analytical data analysis - Support optimization of analytical lab methods using AI and data - driven approaches - Collaborate with R&D and lab teams to identify opportunities for laboratory automation and process improvements - Work with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to manage, analyze, and streamline experimental data Required Qualifications: - Pharma, healthcare pre-requisites along with AI/IT experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field - Hands-on experience in AI/ML implementation, preferably in pharmaceutical R&D - Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, data pipelines, and AI deployment - High School diploma or GED—Required - Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field—Required - Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0—Required - Must be at least 18 years old - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States - Must commit to the full duration of the internship (all interns must start no later than June 1, 2026 - August 28, 2026.)
