The Associate Scientist in In Vivo Pharmacology will be responsible for conducting and analyzing pharmacology studies to support oncology and immunotherapy research programs. Responsibilities: - Designing, conducting, analyzing, and reporting in vivo and in vitro studies - In vivo work will include handling techniques, such as, tumor inoculation and measurement, oral, SC, IP and IV dosing, blood, tissue collection and model development - In vitro work includes a range of cellular assays including multiparametric flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques to help interpret in vivo observations - Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, accurate, timely record-keeping, and data analysis - Active participation and presentation at cross-departmental teams and meetings Required Qualifications: - Master's degree and 1 year of In Vivo Pharmacology and Laboratory Experience - Bachelor's degree and 3 years of In Vivo Pharmacology and Laboratory Experience Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related subject area and 4 years of scientific laboratory experience - Hands-on experience with preclinical models of cancer - Hands on experience administering drugs through various routes - Hands-on experience with in vivo bioluminescence imaging (BLI) - Experience collecting blood by different routes and tissues for downstream analysis - Flow cytometry and multi-parametric analysis (5+ colors) experience is strongly desired - Hands-on experience with molecular, cellular, and ex vivo biological techniques and assays - Computer literacy, especially proficiency with GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and scientific software - Previous drug discovery experience - Attention to detail, translating into high-quality results - Pro-active, enthusiastic, show desire to learn and be part of a highly productive team Required Skills: Vivo Pharmacology, Laboratory Experience, Preclinical Cancer Models, Drug Administration Routes, Vivo Bioluminescence Imaging, Blood and Tissue Collection, Flow Cytometry, Multiparametric Analysis, Molecular Biology Techniques, Cellular Assays, GraphPad Prism, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Drug Discovery Benefits: A comprehensive employee benefits package, including a Retirement and Savings Plan with generous company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts, A discretionary annual bonus program, or for field sales representatives, a sales-based incentive plan, Stock-based long-term incentives, Award-winning time-off plans, Flexible work models where possible.
