Description

American Traveler seeks a Surgical First Assist for a hospital Operating Room position requiring CFA, CSA, or RNFA certification with at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room setting
• Day shift hours from 6:30am to 5pm with call requirements
• Call rotation includes 4-5 weekday evenings/nights and 2-4 weekend shifts over a 6 week schedule
• May float between campuses as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the specialty required
• Certified First Assist (CFA) or Certified Surgical Assist (CSA) required; RNFA also accepted
• BLS certification required
• CST experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
