Description
American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist for a short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Short term acute care teaching hospital setting with 536 staff beds
- EEG Tech unit with 1:1 patient ratios
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Block schedule required
- Rotating weekday and weekend on-call required, typically 2-4 weekdays per month and 1 weekend every six weeks
- Occasional need to cover weekend day shifts when other staff are on PTO
- Potential to float between units and facilities within the state
- Epic EMR used
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Teaching hospital environment
- Scrubs of any color permitted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided
- No parking fee
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Minimal to no time off requests accepted during this assignment
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
