TN-KNOXVILLE Insurance Sales Management Trainee at American… · Memphis

Overview

What could you do if you weren’t limited to one carrier?

American Senior Benefits gives insurance professionals access to 225+ carriers across Medicare, life insurance, retirement and other protection solutions.

That means the conversation with a client starts with “What do you need?” — not “Which of my company’s products can I sell you?”

We combine that choice with training, experienced mentorship, marketing programs and a national organization built to help entrepreneurial agents grow.

For experienced agents, it can mean a much bigger platform.

For someone entering insurance, it means you don’t have to figure out the business alone.

Responsibilities

• You’ll build relationships with individuals and families and help them make important insurance and retirement decisions.

  You’ll:

  • Meet with prospective clients and identify their needs
  • Educate clients about Medicare, life insurance and retirement solutions
  • Compare appropriate options from multiple carriers
  • Assist clients with applications and enrollments
  • Develop business through ASB marketing programs, referrals and your own relationships
  • Build and retain a long-term client base through exceptional service

This is a sales career, but it is built around advice, relationships and choice — not pushing a single carrier’s product.

Qualifications

• Insurance experience is welcome, but it isn’t required.

  You need:

  • The drive to build your own business
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Personal accountability and follow-through
  • Basic computer skills
  • The ability to pass a background check
  • A Life & Health insurance license — or the willingness to obtain one

  Already an Insurance Agent?

Then here’s the question worth asking:

What would your business look like with more products, more carriers and more ways to help the client sitting across from you?

If you’re successful but feel limited by a captive environment, a narrow product portfolio or an organization where you’re simply producing someone else’s book of business, we should talk.
