Summary: American Modern Insurance Group is widely recognized as a leader in the specialty insurance market, protecting various types of properties and vehicles. They are seeking a summer intern for their Innovation team to work on projects that enhance profitability and customer experience through innovative technology and business models. Responsibilities: - Work with other departments in an Agile/Sprint methodology & identify new technology that can help address the problem at hand or streamline an approach - Work on various Innovation & Digital (I&D) projects that will help our profitability, such as new ways of looking at new business underwriting inspections, home sensors to mitigate losses and the use of technology to aid in renewal underwriting Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree - Graduation date between December 2024 and May 2027 - Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks - Strong interest in the insurance industry - Ability to work independently and in group settings - Authorized to work in the United States of America - Must be local to Cincinnati and work in office at least 2 days a week Preferred Qualifications: - Business, Management, Finance and Project Management majors are preferred Required Skills: Agile methodology, Sprint methodology, Insurance industry knowledge, work in group settings Benefits: Gain hands on experience over 12 week summer program, Network with CEO, senior leaders, experienced teammates, and other interns to develop lasting professional connections, Flexibility in a hybrid world, Opportunity to gain professional and personal development, Participate in community outreach, Full-Time career opportunities after graduation
