Summary: American Modern Insurance Group, a Munich Re company, is a leading specialty insurance provider. They are seeking a Data Analytics and AI Intern to gain practical experience in various areas such as Business Intelligence, Consumer Data Research, Innovation, and Portfolio Management during a 12-week summer program. Responsibilities: - Gathering customer requirements to design, implement, and provide support for reports and dashboards within the Claims Department - Supporting the Data Transformation initiative by recreating legacy dashboards and reports in a new modern Azure environment - Participating in agent and policyholder research, voice-of-customer data collection and analytics, and agile user testing - Performing all software development activities including development and testing in the Agile/Sprint methodology - Focusing on API development and testing and various Innovation projects with technical skills to develop prototype websites for testing and validation purposes - Participating in peril based research, documentation and creation of SOPs Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, Information Systems, Business Management, Project Management and Risk Management - Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks - Confidence in use of MS Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Notes, Teams) - Candidates must be local (Amelia, OH) and have reliable transportation due to the hybrid work schedule.
