Assistant Manager, Lending at American… · Hong Kong

This position is responsible to assist the team leader to execute and implement marketing and communication programs and projects to drive lending growth and enhance CM awareness of Amex lending brand in Hong Kong. He/she will have accountability for the successful delivery of campaigns and Cardmember communications, as well as of adherence to all internal and external regulatory controls.

The incumbent will also support the manager to partner with the various LOBs and Central Lending team to develop innovative lending engagement strategies, marketing and communication programs and roll out new lending capabilities to grow AR, revolve rate and revolve revenue according to our Risk appetite. He/she will have the responsibility to monitor market and competitive activities as well as internal program results.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement lending programs (loan acquisition, card revolve behavior etc.), formulate strategies and business plan to accelerate market penetration as well as achieve business target
• Perform product and customer analytics, conduct regular industry and competitor reviews to formulate and implement business strategic plans on various products or campaigns
• Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery of initiatives and integrated marketing programs
• Work with central lending team and risk team on various project /systems implementation
• Ensure that all campaigns comply with corporate guidelines, service quality standards and card scheme requirements
• Manage marketing budget on cost saving and efficiency, and ensure sourcing policies are aligned bank needs

Qualifications

• University degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in credit card, financial or consumer industry
• Strong analytical, data analysis and problem-solving skills with good P&L mindset, comfortable in Python/SQL coding environment
• Strong marketing and communication skills with project and agency management experience
• Solid project management skills with ability to meet deadlines and drive results while managing multiple priorities
• Outward looking with keen interest on competitive and evolving industry trends for the consumer lending products and services
• Fluency in verbal and written communication of English and Cantonese / Chinese
