Mechanical Engineer Intern at Amentum in US-VA-Hampton

Summary: Amentum is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to join their Facility Operations team at NASA Langley Research Center. The intern will support data analysis on projects, assist engineers with presentations, and develop internal procedures to enhance productivity. Responsibilities: - Responsible for significant portion of data analysis on projects of limited scope; identifies data discrepancies, reviews, analyzes, and integrates the technical work of others. Outlines technical approaches for associates and checks mathematical work in progress - Assumes reporting responsibility for defined areas, and prepares procedures as required. Assists engineers with presentations, by developing innovative approaches to data display. Works closely with engineers to define/clarify requirements for accomplishment by others. Provides organizational integrity for the group and effectively utilizes the manpower available for peak productivity.
