Summary: Amentum is seeking a Junior Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center's Electromagnetic Effects Division. The role involves performing RF testing, evaluation, integration, and configuration evaluations of US Navy warfare systems, including environmental electromagnetic effects computation and RF modeling. Responsibilities: - Will provide B30 RF Engineering Support by performing: - Environmental Electromagnetic Effects (E3) Computation and RF Modeling and Simulation - Perform analyses of Electronic Warfare (EW), communication, and radar systems - Develop detailed test plans; participate in test planning meetings and test readiness reviews; perform RF / E3 testing - Gather, reduce / post process, and analyze resulting data - Prepare and publish detailed test reports; review technical documentation; and contribute to technical meeting support Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline - One (1) year of experience in theoretical and practical aspects of RF / microwave test and evaluation - Experience with MATLAB and RF modeling/simulation software applications - Experienced with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, etc.) - Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance.
