Job Description
Senior Director of Sales – Laddawn & Custom Film
Location: Devens, MA
Reports to: Vice President of Supply Chain Converter & Distribution
We are seeking a growth-oriented, transformational leader to drive the commercial integration and accelerated expansion of Amcor’s combined Laddawn and Custom Film organizations. The Senior Director of Sales will be responsible for driving growth by developing and executing a unified commercial strategy across e‑commerce, marketplace channels, business development, customer experience, and regional field sales. The Senior Director will champion cultural and operational integration, elevate customer experience, and drive profitable top‑line growth. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving transformation, with deep experience managing multi‑channel teams, shaping commercial strategy, and leading organizations through complex transitions.
Responsibilities
• Lead the commercial integration of the Laddawn and Custom Film businesses, establishing a unified structure, culture, and go‑to‑market approach that drives sales growth for the business.
• Develop and deploy the commercial strategy across e‑commerce, marketplace, inside sales, business development, and regional field sales to deliver revenue, margin, and volume growth.
• Provide leadership to four direct reports: Director of Sales (Laddawn), Director of Sales Operations (Marketplace & Customer Experience), and two Regional Sales Directors with Territory Manager teams.
• Strengthen commercial processes including customer segmentation, pricing strategy, sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment on commercial needs and footprint decisions.
• Drive organizational discipline in sales governance, CRM utilization, analytics adoption, and continuous improvement of sales processes.
• Elevate customer experience by improving responsiveness, digital interactions, handoffs, order visibility, and service consistency across all channels.
• Lead ongoing assessment and enhancement of sales talent, ensuring the organization has the capabilities required to execute the integrated commercial strategy.
• Oversee the evolution and performance of Marketplace and E‑Commerce Partner functions, ensuring they deliver value‑added growth and an exceptional digital-to-human experience.
• Champion cultural transformation, fostering collaboration, transparency, accountability, and a customer‑first mindset across all commercial teams.
• Represent the voice of the customer across the business, influencing product development, operational decisions, service levels, and strategic planning.
• Monitor industry dynamics, trends in specialty films, competitive shifts, and emerging commercial capabilities to inform strategy and identify opportunities.
• Present commercial performance, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in B2B manufacturing, packaging, film, materials, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success leading multi‑channel commercial organizations, including e‑commerce, marketplace, inside sales, and field sales teams.
• Proven experience leading organizations through integration, transformation, or major structural change.
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities with a track record of delivering profitable revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of commercial operations including forecasting, pricing, key account management, and customer experience.
• Exceptional leadership, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teams.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and data‑driven sales processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across operations, supply chain, finance, marketing, and product functions.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with the ability to manage ambiguity and lead change.
• Willingness to travel to customers, team locations, and other company sites as needed.
The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $175,000 to $210,000; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $175,000 to $210,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
