Summary: Mobile Anesthesiologists is a national leader in office-based anesthesia services, and they are seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support key initiatives across revenue cycle operations, reporting, and analytics. This role provides hands-on experience with real healthcare data while partnering directly with leadership on financial and operational initiatives. Responsibilities: - Analyze revenue cycle, billing, and operational data across multiple markets - Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI or similar tools) - Support reporting on claims activity, payer performance, and reimbursement trends - Clean, validate, and organize datasets (Excel, CSV, internal systems) - Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within revenue cycle performance - Support key initiatives (e.g., RN billing pilots, payer analysis, operational reporting) - Partner cross-functionally with revenue cycle, credentialing, and operations teams - Assist with ad hoc reporting and analytics projects Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field - Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - High attention to detail and data accuracy - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - Strong communication skills (able to translate data into insights) Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools - Basic knowledge of SQL Required Skills: Excel, Power BI, SQL, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Healthcare data analysis, Revenue cycle operations, Dashboard building, Analytical skills Benefits: Hands-on experience with real healthcare and financial data, Exposure to revenue cycle operations and payer strategy, Experience building dashboards and reporting tools, Direct mentorship and feedback from leadership, A portfolio of real analytics projects (dashboards, reports, models), Weekly mentorship and feedback sessions
