The Cooling Tower Technician will apply industrial coatings, perform maintenance and inspections on cooling towers, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities: - Apply industrial coatings to HVAC systems and cooling towers - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cooling towers, including: - Checking water levels and quality - Inspecting fans, motors, and pumps - Cleaning and maintaining heat exchangers - Troubleshoot and repair cooling tower equipment - Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including: - Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) - Following safety procedures for working at heights and around moving machinery - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations Required Qualifications: - Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs - Ability to climb up and down ladders - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions - Experience with basic hand and power tools - Valid driver's license - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work independently and take initiative - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Drug and alcohol screening - Background check Required Skills: Cooling tower maintenance, Troubleshooting equipment Important Skills: Hand, power tools, Communication skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Teamwork skills, Attention to detail, Problem-solving skills, work independently
