Teardown operator at Amara Raja Group in Hyderabad

Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cell Teardown Operator to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of lithium-ion cell technology and a strong interest in battery testing, materials, and cell design. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and senior engineers to execute cell teardown test plans and support the design, analysis, and development of lithium-ion cells

. Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of lithium-ion battery materials, cell components, and manufacturing processes.
• Perform comparative and benchmarking analysis of internal and competitor cells
• Document teardown findings with photos, data, and technical reports
• Maintain teardown tools, lab equipment, and safety records
• perform systematic teardown of lithium-ion cells following defined test plans and safety procedures
• Assist in identifying, documenting, and analyzing cell components and materials
• Support engineers during failure analysis, benchmarking, and design validation activities
• Record observations, measurements, and test results accurately
• Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of cell components
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and protocols
