Job Title: Backend Software Engineer Python / Go / C/C++

Overview

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with 2–4 years of software development experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Python along with hands-on experience in Golang and/or C/C++, and a good understanding of backend and system-level software development.

The candidate will work on developing scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed software components, with opportunities to work on cloud-native and AI-enabled applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, and maintain backend services and software components using Python, Go, and/or C/C++.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize software for performance, reliability, and resource utilization.
• Work with databases, caching systems, external APIs, and other backend components.
• Work with Linux-based environments and debug application/system-level issues.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver software solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement of development practices.
• Work with AI-enabled applications and services as required, with an understanding of basic concepts such as LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and AI model APIs.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

• 2–3 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Working experience with Golang and/or C/C++.
• Experience in backend development, API development, or system-level software development.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Good understanding of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerized environments is desirable.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and exposure to LLM-based applications or RAG pipelines is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Go or C/C++ in backend or systems development.
• Familiarity with 4G/5G, telecom, networking, or communication systems.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, or gRPC.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
