Implementation Project Senior Specialist Location: Warsaw Job Title Implementation Project Senior Specialist Summary At Amadeus, we connect the travel industry and when an airline signs a new distribution contract with us, their first experience of NDC is entirely in your hands. This is a hybrid role for someone who bridges the technical and the commercial. You are not a developer, nor an account manager, you are the person who brings clarity to complex implementations, keeps customers informed at every step, and ensures every project lands on time and on target. If you are organized, communicative, and thrive at the center of things this is your role. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end implementation projects for airline customers, from contract signature to cutover, including piloting new industry features such as NDC-X and EDIFACT; Act as the primary customer-facing coordinator, keeping airlines fully aligned and informed throughout the entire project lifecycle; Ensure accurate and timely reporting on the status of all projects under your ownership; Coordinate functional handovers to regional implementation teams, enabling them to operate autonomously on recurring project activity; Represent the department in customer meetings and escalations, working closely with Solutions and Development teams to resolve functional or operational issues; Leverage GenAI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to accelerate delivery, documentation, and analysis; About the Ideal Candidate: 3+ years of project management experience, ideally within the IT industry or a technology-driven environment; Background in airlines or the travel industry is a strong advantage, though not a strict requirement; A degree in IT, Business, or a related field is preferred but not essential; Technically literate: comfortable reading API specifications, understanding NDC message flows, and engaging confidently with development teams; Exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal skills, able to manage senior stakeholders on the customer side with professionalism and trust; Highly organized and autonomous, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively with limited day-to-day peer support; Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus; Familiarity with GenAI tools such as Microsoft Copilot is an advantage; What We Can Offer You 🌎 A truly global DNA - Everything at Amadeus is global, from our people to our business, which translates into our footprint, processes, and culture. 🎓 Great opportunities to learn - Learning happens all the time and in many ways at Amadeus, through on-the-job training, formal learning activities, and day-to-day interactions with colleagues. 🤗 A caring environment - Amadeus fosters a caring environment, nurturing both a fulfilling career and personal and family life.
