Position Summary

Always Best Care Senior Services & Uncle Beez Greeneryz (Team Greene) is seeking an experienced financial leader to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal financial controls across multiple business entities and office locations.

This role requires a hands-on financial professional who can manage day-to-day accounting operations while also providing strategic financial leadership to ownership and executive management. Our ideal candidate will have strong multi-entity accounting experience, operational finance proficiency, and the ability to maintain accurate, compliant financial systems in fast-paced, service-based and regulated business environments.

Experience supporting healthcare, home care, cannabis, nonprofit, retail, or other multi-location operations is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial performance, reporting, and accounting operations across multiple business entities and office locations
• Perform and oversee bank reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger review to ensure financial accuracy
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation and reporting
• Monitor payroll expenses, labor costs, and key operational financial metrics
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and expense management
• Review collections, billing performance, and cash flow management
• Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic growth planning
• Provide financial recommendations and insights to ownership and leadership
• Support franchise/business leadership with financial decision-making and operational planning
• Identify process improvements, cost control opportunities, and operational efficiencies
• Ensure strong internal financial controls, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance
• Maintain accurate accounting records across all entities using QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
• Collaborate with banking partners and support treasury/cash management functions
• Support financial oversight of businesses using retail POS systems and inventory-based financial workflows, where applicable
• Ensure financial processes remain aligned, and efficient across all business operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required

• CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred

• 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial leadership experience

• Proven experience managing finances for multiple business entities

• Strong knowledge of: - Financial reporting - Budgeting & forecasting - Internal controls - Cash flow management - Bank reconciliations - Account analysis - Operational finance

• Experience in regulated industries preferred (i.e. home care, home health, cannabis operations)

• Experience managing a multi-location organization preferred

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting platform required

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required (financial modeling and reporting, data analysis)

• Retail POS systems preferred
