Silicon Validation Graduate Intern at Altera in Austin, TX

Summary: Altera Corporation is seeking a Silicon Validation Graduate Intern to engage in hands-on content development and debugging in pre/post-Si validation. This role involves collaboration with various teams to understand technical features and debug hardware, software, and firmware issues. Responsibilities: - Create, define and develop system validation environment and test suites - Development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures - Validate Altera FPGA features in Pre-Si/Post Si Required Qualifications: - The candidate must be pursuing a Master's or Phd in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field - 3+ months of experience or coursework in one, or more, of the following: Familiarity with Python - 3+ months of experience or coursework in one, or more, of the following: Familiarity with Linux - 3+ months of experience or coursework in one, or more, of the following: Strong analytical and problem-solving skill Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Django is a plus - Experience with Makefile is a plus - Excellent analytical mind with first-rate problem-solving skills healthy paranoia for bugs and a strong sense of quality - Willingness to work well in a cross-site cross-team environment - Team player willing to work in a high-paced, dynamic environment Required Skills: Python, Linux Important Skills: Django, Makefile Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical skills
