Client Services Officer - Rotational Lead

ALS is seeking aClient Services Officer - Rotational Leadto join the Client Services team as part of our Environmental divisionin Stafford, Brisbane.
The ALS Client Services team work closely with our clients, providing quality service in the form of technical and analytical advice as well as facilitating project delivery through effective communication and project management.
The day to day
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greet and support clients’ needs leveraging phone, email and face to face service and communication skills
Promptly answer phone calls and emails professionally to support client enquiries
Liaising with the bottle dispatch team to complete tasking of client container order requests
Preparation of quotations through the LIMS and assisting with tender and expressions of interest preparation
Coordinating the receipt and dispatch of client samples to ALS Environmental laboratories, including liaising with laboratory staff when urgent samples are received
Working with internal stakeholders to complete investigations through the ALS Quality Management System
Occasionally assisting with sorting, packing, labelling, and distributing samples by courier or for pick up
Liaise with clients (internal and external) regarding sample submissions and related queries

Excellent computer skills including MS Office suite

An understanding or interest in learning and delivering laboratory safety protocols in the handling of chemical hazards
Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
