Job Description
Summary: AlphaSense is a leading provider of AI-driven market intelligence, empowering professionals to make smarter decisions. The Account Manager, Sell-Side Research will manage relationships with broker partners, driving platform adoption and enhancing the value of their research within the AlphaSense ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial lifecycle for assigned broker partners, including strategy, forecasting, and renewals
- Identify expansion opportunities aligned to research visibility and analyst productivity
- Act as a strategic advisor as partners adopt AI-powered research workflows
- You will drive meaningful platform adoption across analyst teams to ensure partners realize measurable value
- You will lead thoughtful business reviews that translate usage trends into business outcomes, reinforcing AlphaSense’s role as a strategic partner
- You will monitor engagement signals and relationship dynamics to identify risk early, then execute clear mitigation plans that protect long-term partnership value
- Represent the voice of sell-side partners across Product, Sales, and Content teams
- Maintain strong operational rigor through clear CRM hygiene and forecasting discipline
Required Qualifications:
- Foundation in capital markets and curiosity for how technology is reshaping research workflows
- Experience inside or alongside equity research, investment banking, capital markets, or a Financial Services-focused SaaS environment
- Understanding of how research is produced, how analysts consume information, and what differentiates firms competing for attention in a crowded market
- Ability to think beyond activity and focus on outcomes
- Comfort owning renewal conversations, identifying growth opportunities, and balancing relationship building with commercial rigor
- Comfortable working with data and context
- Ability to engage a junior associate in a detailed workflow discussion and then shift seamlessly into a strategic conversation with a Head of Research
- Ability to communicate with clarity, confidence, and respect for your audience's expertise
- Ownership mentality, being proactive, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a Financial Services or closely related environment
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline
