As a Security Officer Patrol in Ponca City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access expectations, and security-related protocols at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting security-related activity according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance, environmental, and security-related concerns to the appropriate site contacts.
- Support emergency response activities by following post orders, communicating with site personnel and/or first responders, and assisting with orderly movement during site events or disruptions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
