Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time - Hurricane Ln in Fresno, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Maintain detailed activity logs and complete required reports related to patrols, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
