Summary: The Alliance for American Leadership (A4AL) is a bipartisan coalition of national security experts and young professionals committed to restoring American credibility and effectiveness abroad. They are currently seeking a Government Relations Intern to assist with legislative advocacy, conduct research, and provide administrative support for political campaigns. Responsibilities: - The Legislative Intern will meet with staffers, help organize locally in support of the Alliance, draft letters to the editor, conduct legislative research, and support endorsed campaigns through field organizing - Additional responsibilities may include note-taking during virtual briefings or committee hearings, formatting and proofreading memos, and coordinating internal document storage to ensure consistency and accessibility Required Qualifications: - Candidates who are reliable - Detail-oriented - Organized - Strong written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - An interest in Congress - An interest in foreign policy - An interest in nonprofit advocacy Required Skills: Legislative research, Note-taking, Memo formatting, Proofreading
