The Opportunity
The Payroll Analyst is a developing professional who performs a variety of tasks to ensure the accurate processing and recording of the company's payroll. This role builds upon foundational knowledge to handle complex payroll calculations, reconciliations, and reporting. Working with general supervision, the Analyst helps ensure that employees are paid correctly and that all payroll operations are compliant.
What You Will Do
Prepares payroll of Monthly, Daily Paid and OJT employees using MyHR Timekeeping and Payroll System
Uploads income/deduction in the MyHR Timekeeping and Payroll system : Advances
Uploads text file for ATM payroll and other employee payments in the bank’s Online Banking facility
Provides technical assistance to MyHR user through phone/email in validating and resolving employees’ payroll timecard exceptions in MyHR Timekeeping and Payroll System during payroll cut-off or as needed
Prepares payroll of Monthly, Daily Paid and OJT employees using MyHR Timekeeping and Payroll System
Uploads the income/deduction in the MyHR Timekeeping and Payroll sys
Uploads text file for ATM payroll and other employee payments in the bank’s Online Banking facility
Provides technical assistance to MyHR user through phone/email in validating and resolving employees’ payroll timecard exceptions in MyHR Timekeeping and Payroll System during payroll cut-off or as needed
Sends email announcement to MyHR users every payroll cut-off and set deadline to review and resolve employee timecard exceptions, if any
Facilitates Employee Orientation Program (EOP), Tax Forum and Benefits & Payroll Refresher activities
Prepares of Direct and Indirect Labor Analysis – due every 1st Tuesday after FS cut-off
Prepares the Impact on Headcount Report – due every 1st Thursday after FS cut-off
Prepares Detailed Overtime Report – due every 1st Thursday after FS cut-off
Prepares and computes employee benefits13th month payCash conversion of unused leavesFinal payTax Refund
Transmit monthly SSS contributions/loans, PHIC contributions and HDMF contributions/loans of employee and employer shares through the bank’s Online Banking facility.
Prepares Alphalist for Non-Exempt employees as an attachment of BIR Form 1604 CF (prepared by Payable & Payroll Section Head)
Provides documents and support needed for ETQ and Financial/SOX audit
Attends to employee query/concern, if any, on payroll, ATM, and other related matters and makes necessary corrective action
Initiates system methodologies and services for continuous improvement
Perform other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
What You Will Bring
Any college degree (Accountancy or Business Administration is preferred)
Preferably with at least three (3) years’ relevant work experience in timekeeping and payroll processing.
Above average computer literacy (MS Office Applications)
Working knowledge of entire finance and accounting function
Keen on details and ability to explain them
Ability to execute financial controls
Good knowledge of Philippine tax laws and other government regulations
Ability to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate with people in various level of organization
Good planning, organizational and analytical skills
