Job Description
Summary: Allan Myers is the largest heavy civil construction and materials production contractor in the mid-Atlantic. The Field Engineer Internship offers students the opportunity to support a crew, project, or plant team in the planning, scheduling, and execution of a heavy civil construction project, gaining meaningful experience in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating subcontractors
- Project Schedule Management
- Project plans exposure
- Preparing work plans
- Contract Management
- Daily reporting
- Ordering materials
- Change orders
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED) required
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mining & Materials Engineering, Business Management, or another engineering related degree
- Must be a team player and possess a collaborative attitude
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to change
