Live Fashion Sketching Artist at Alisa Maxime Studio in New York, NY

Alisa Maxime Studio is a creative studio specializing in Live Fashion Sketching across the US.

We produced over 400 events across Brand & Influencer Activations (Hermès, Gucci, Cartier, Bulgari, Ferrari, Dior, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Simon Premium Outlets, LVMH), Corporate Engagements (Google, Amazon, TikTok, LinkedIn, Dell, Kirkland & Ellis, Valero, T-Mobile), ultra-high-net-worth private celebrations, and non-profit galas.

Alisa Maxime Studio is seeking talented and enthusiastic artists to do commission work for us. The position is part-time and fits best for someone who wants to use their art skills for an additional income, mostly on weekends.

Successful candidates may be skilled artists without experience in Live Fashion Sketching. Once selected, you will go through a free, unpaid training to learn how to draw a fashion sketch in 7-8 minutes in the style of our studio. When ready, you will represent our studio at various offline events in your location, with occasional travel. If you have a passion for art and fashion and are keen on learning new techniques, this is the perfect opportunity!

Responsibilities:

• Attend in-person events on behalf of Alisa Maxime Studio to provide live fashion sketching services
• Interact professionally and courteously with event attendees
• Complete sketches in a timely and accurate manner, typically within 7 minutes per sketch (not required to apply)
• Set up and tear down sketching station at events
• Participate in training sessions to hone your live sketching skills

Requirements:

• Strong foundational skills in drawing
• Willingness to be trained in live fashion sketching
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation to and from events
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Experience with watercolor, markers

Recruitment steps:

• If you are selected based on your resume and portfolio, we will ask you to complete a test sketch
• If you are selected based on your test we will invite you for a video interview
• Each test submission is reviewed carefully by or team
• Due to high volume of submissions, we only get back to successful candidates

Good to have:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus
• Graphic design

Candidates who don't complete the test sketch won't be further considered.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 8.0 per week
