Summary: Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys is a rapidly growing personal injury law firm based in Alabama with offices across the nation. The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys by managing case documentation, communicating with clients, and advocating for their needs, all while contributing to the firm's mission of supporting victims of disasters. Responsibilities: - Send letters of representation - Update clients on case status - Collect documents and info from clients - Evaluate client needs - Connect clients with internal and external resources - Advocate for clients internally - Assist attorneys with pleadings, correspondence, and scheduling - Obtain world domination Required Qualifications: - 1+ year of legal experience in Property Casualty cases (Required) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience drafting and reviewing legal documents - Experience with medical records management - Microsoft Office (Required) Preferred Qualifications: - Personal Injury case experience will also be considered - Experience working cases based in Chicago, IL or are willing to learn about working cases in the area - FileVine or Case Management System knowledge - In-person (Preferred) - Open to remote candidates based in Chicago, IL with prior experience handling Chicago based cases Required Skills: Legal experience in Property Casualty cases, Personal Injury case experience, FileVine, Case Management System, Legal document drafting, Medical records management, Microsoft Office Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance - 100% paid by the firm, Generous PTO Plan, 401k plan with a 3% match, Stellar bonuses if you crush it, Working Location: + In-person (Preferred) + Open to remote candidates based in Chicago, IL with prior experience handling Chicago based cases
