Summary: Alcami Corporation is dedicated to delivering reliable solutions in the pharmaceutical industry, and they are seeking an AI Intern to support their efforts in integrating AI into daily workflows. The intern will design and build AI-driven solutions, evaluate emerging AI tools, and work on prototypes that align with enterprise systems. Responsibilities: - Work with stakeholders to define clear problem statements and identify high-value AI use cases - Design, build, and iterate on at least one end-to-end AI use case (from problem definition to working prototype) - Develop and test AI-driven workflows (e.g., Copilot agents, automation pipelines, or LLM-based solutions) - Evaluate AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) for usability, accuracy, and scalability - Integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and systems (e.g., SAP, MasterControl) - Document use cases, solution approaches, and outcomes - Develop simple user guidance and training materials - Present outcomes and recommendations to leadership - The intern will complete all onboarding activities and provide feedback for process improvements - The intern will be trained on proper techniques and documentation in a GMP environment. Techniques will depend on the group and area - Interns will be trained on safety and quality expectations, and are expected to maintain safety and quality standards, and report safety observations according to company policy - Upon completion of the internship, incumbents will conduct individual presentations to Alcami leaders - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a field related to the internship - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong coding skills (Python, SQL) or experience with low-code/no-code tools (Power Platform) - Ability to design and build AI-driven solutions - Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills - High attention to detail and ability to produce quality work - Good verbal and written communication and documentation skills required - Strong detail orientation and organizational skills required - Good problem-solving and basic trouble-shooting ability required - Willingness to collaborate with other team members - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Follows all safety policies and leads by example a safety-first culture - Produces high quality work products with a focus on first time right - Complies with the company code of conduct, policies, and regulatory standards Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) preferred Required Skills: Python, SQL, Low-code/no-code tools, AI-driven solution design, AI tools evaluation, Microsoft Office, GMP environment knowledge, Analytical skills
