The role involves wrapping, weighing, pricing, and stocking meat products while ensuring compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities: - Provide customer service as currently defined by the employer within the scope of the position and within company policy - Operate wrapping machine - Obtain fresh, frozen, smoked and prepackaged meats from storage coolers and freezers and display in meat department display cases - Use carts, wheeled racks, dollies and pallet jacks to move bulky stock - Place precut or ground meat in plastic tray and wraps, weighs, and prices by hand or using automatic machine - Periodically checks display and storage areas for product with expired dates and removes from area for processing - Perform daily temp and tare checks - May order product and supplies - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Ability to follow company customer service procedures - Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience - Ability to interact with customers and co-workers - Ability to understand and follow instructions - Ability to operate a scale, read, and follow instructions Required Skills: Operating wrapping machine, Using scale, Product rotation and quality control, Stocking meat products, Handling carts and pallet jacks, interact with customers and co-workers Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability and life insurance, Sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), Paid holidays (9 days annually), Bereavement pay, Retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility)
