Summary: Albertsons Companies is a leading food and drug retailer in the U.S. seeking a Deli Manager Assistant to oversee the new "Ready Meals" program. The role involves managing merchandising, meal kit completion, and training associates while ensuring excellent customer service in a dynamic retail environment. Responsibilities: - PM Deli Lead will oversee Albertson’s New “Ready Meals” program - This is a Full-Time position; the contractual wage rate is $18.50/hour - You MUST be available to work five nights a week. The 4th and 5th night shift will not be eligible for overtime for hours worked after 6 PM. At least two of these night shifts must end by 10 PM. Any work beyond 10 PM on a 4th or 5th night will be paid at the overtime rate - The PM Deli Lead will be responsible for all aspects of the new “ReadyMeals” program including but not limited to merchandising, meal kit completion and training/supervising associates on the “ReadyMeals” program - Applicants must be proficient in performing Deli/Food service work for periods of time - Other duties as may be assigned by management Required Qualifications: - Must be available to work five nights a week - At least two of these night shifts must end by 10 PM - Applicants must be proficient in performing Deli/Food service work for periods of time - High School Diploma/GED or relevant work history or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position - Must possess strong customer service qualities - Successful HR File Review, including but not limited to, no disciplinary action at Safeway within past 6 months - Highly motivated and team oriented - Ability to travel to other stores and/or Division office Preferred Qualifications: - One to two years of customer service experience preferred Required Skills: Deli/Food Service, Merchandising, Training and Supervising Associates, Highly Motivated Benefits: Access to up to 50% of your earned wages before payday, via our partnership with Stream, Associate discounts, Health and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!), Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
