They are seeking an embedded software intern for the Device Engineering team to help define the future of the Internet-of-Things by creating and integrating devices that connect with their cloud using next-generation communication stacks. Responsibilities: - Work with a team of talented engineers across a diverse set of technological backgrounds to design devices, build and manufacture hardware, architect and implement software, and collaborate in an agile and fast-paced environment - Gain exposure to how AI-driven features—such as intelligent automation, data analysis, and smart decision-making—can be integrated into connected devices and cloud-enabled systems Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience - Experience with a modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or C#, with object-oriented design a plus - Experience with software development practices in a Linux environment or microcontroller environment - Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence or machine learning concepts (e.g., data processing, model integration, or edge intelligence), or a strong interest in learning how AI is applied to IoT and embedded systems - Good verbal and written communication skills - Passion for working with technology and excitement for creating high-quality consumer technology products Required Skills: C, C++, Java, C# Important Skills: Linux, Microcontroller, AI concepts, Machine learning Nice-to-Have Skills: Passion for technology, Communication skills
