Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and experienced Admin Officer to support the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of a Cultural Foundation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of UAE culture, heritage, and traditions, with experience in event coordination and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Cultural Foundation.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, schedules, correspondence, and official documentation.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating cultural events, exhibitions, workshops, festivals, and community activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments, government entities, suppliers, contractors, artists, guests, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare event-related documents, schedules, reports, attendance records, and presentations.
- Support event logistics, including venue arrangements, invitations, registrations, materials, and on-site coordination.
- Maintain accurate records, files, databases, and administrative documents.
- Draft and prepare letters, emails, reports, minutes of meetings, and other official communications.
- Assist with procurement, quotations, invoices, and coordination with suppliers when required.
- Ensure administrative activities are carried out in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide support to management and other departments as required.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, Events Management, Cultural Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant administrative experience in the UAE.
- Experience working with a cultural foundation, cultural organization, events company, government entity, or similar organization is preferred.
- Good knowledge and understanding of UAE culture, heritage, traditions, and local practices.
- Proven experience in event coordination and administration.
- Fluent Arabic speaker with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good command of English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
