Summary: Aksia is an alternative assets specialist providing bespoke investment solutions for institutional investors globally. They are seeking an Analyst or Associate to join their Private Markets Valuation team, responsible for conducting in-depth asset valuation analysis and ongoing monitoring for various alternative and illiquid investment types. Responsibilities: - Operating and maintaining financial models for daily pricing, discounted cash flow, market multiple, and market transaction analyses - Performing valuation analysis on a wide range of illiquid investments broadly distributed across industries and geographies while using accepted and relevant approaches and theory - Reporting and presenting analyses to variety of internal and external stakeholders - Attending relevant industry events to broaden your knowledge and experience within the alternative asset industry Required Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in alternative asset valuation or a related field - Demonstrated experience in valuation models and other financial modeling including: DCF, comparable company, and other intangible asset models - Understanding of Private Credit and/or Private Equity valuation methodologies and applications - Strong Microsoft Suite skills, especially Excel, Power Point & Word; VBA experience a plus - Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills - High degree of personal initiative, integrity, and commercial acumen Required Skills: Alternative asset valuation, Valuation models, Financial modeling Important Skills: Private Credit valuation, Private Equity valuation, Microsoft Excel Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical skills, Commercial acumen, Interpersonal skills, Communication skills, Personal initiative, Integrity Benefits: Discretionary performance bonus, Comprehensive benefits package
