Job Summary The Mill Operator is an hourly position and is responsible for safely operating the process equipment per standard operating procedures (SOPs),specified feed formulation and quality procedures. Work Duties and Required Skills

Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards. Follow the production schedule in accordance with feed formulation and quality. Troubleshoot equipment and process problems. Proficient use of computer – in addition to process controls and inventory software. Cleaning of processing equipment. Ensure ingredients and reprocessed products are blended correctly. Maintain inventory for in process ingredients. Accurate reporting with necessary paperwork. Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed. housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule. Participate in shift exchange review and response meetings to communicate your key process indicator performance. Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues in the Batch Operator position. Perform other duties as assigned by Akralos Management. Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues in the Process Operator positions. Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership. At times, overtime will be required.
