Job Description
Summary: AIT Worldwide Logistics is a global freight forwarder that helps companies grow by expanding access to markets all over the world. As an intern, you will join a rotational program to gain hands-on experience in various operational departments, receive formal training, and learn about managing supply chain processes.
Responsibilities:
- Gain practical experience by working alongside experienced team members, learning how to manage and optimize the supply chain
- Attend formal training sessions led by industry experts to learn about AIT products, regulations, process and systems
- Earn an AIT Evolve Certificate in either Air or Ocean operations
- Perform data entry activities, database management operations and maintenance of client files
- Convey and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times while providing extraordinary external and internal customer service
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree - Recent graduate or graduating within the next 12 months in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent planning, prioritization, problem solving skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze and interpret data
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and be a fast learner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in additional languages a plus
