Lead Packet Core at Airtel in Gurugram

Key Responsibilities:

• Capacity management of Packet Core Nodes in line with traffic growth and business requirements
• Timely ordering inputs and implementation / rollout and troubleshooting
• Lead deployment of Packet Code nodes.
• New business features and network features as per business requirements
• Operational planning and life cycle management of Packet Core.
• Packet Core nodes network design and HLD planning
• Network resiliency planning and optimization plans for Packet Core nodes.
• Improve customer data network experience and be a SME on Packet Core Nodes.
• Creating a future technology ready packet core node.
• Managing Partners as per organizational framework
• OEM / Partner / Vendor Management Solution closure, Upgrade Strategy, Architecture Blueprint & Partner and project reviews

Skills Required:

• Working knowledge or hands on experience of 2G/4G/5G PaCo Nodes - SGSN-MME, AMF, SGW/PGW, SMF/UPF, DNS, CG, PCF, NRF etc.
• Good understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, VoLTE, VoNR and VoWifi call flows.
• Good understanding of 5G network, architecture and call flow.
• Basic understanding of Fixed Line (BNG/BRAS) architecture & call flow.
• Configuration level and Hardware Knowledge of Huawei, Cisco and Ericsson Packet Core including virtualized nodes.
• Good knowledge on Cloud technology, IaaS, CaaS.
• Good troubleshooting skills on PaCo.
• Understanding of IP technology like router, switch, firewall etc.
• Good communication skills and should be able to aggressively take proactive measures
• Willing to work on new technology & Complex Integrations
• Should be a quick learner
