Job Description
Summary: Airbus Operations GmbH is seeking an intern to support the Systems Evolutions, Connectivity & Services department within the A320 Developments Programme. The intern will work on understanding complex product development projects, improving operational performance through digital solutions, and prototyping GenAI-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding the management of complex product development projects
- Understanding the aircraft full product development cycle
- Improvement of operational performance developing digital solutions
- Understand and translate business needs into digital problem spaces
- Prototyping & Feasibility Analysis: Rapid prototyping of GenAI-based solutions and delivering comprehensive feasibility analyses
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Computer Science, Data Science or similar study fields
- Knowledge of project management
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
- Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence: Solid theoretical and practical knowledge in AI, with a focus on Generative AI (GenAI), Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Prompt Engineering
- Digital Technology Acumen: Strong awareness of the digital technology landscape and the ability to proactively identify, learn, and apply new technologies to meet customer needs
- Very good Python coding skills, experience with full-stack software development
- Interest and curiosity in working with cloud technologies, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
